Understanding eGovernment Failure: An Actor-Network Analysis of Thailand's Smart ID Card Project

This study explores the failure of Thailand's Smart ID Card project through the lens of the actornetwork theory. It was found that the cause of failure came from (1) errors in problematization that initiated starting point failure, (2) incomplete interessement that created more chance of failure, and (3) uncontrolled chaos in the enrolment process.
